? How this works
Each month, once you have downloaded the attendance report from the HR system:
- Drop the report PDF into step 2 below.
- Glance at the matches and the “needs checking” list.
- Press Build spreadsheet and save the file it gives you.
Sign-in and sign-out times come from the first and last tap of each day, and the hours are worked out for you. Your roster file and the name matching are remembered, so steps 1 and 3 are usually already done. Nothing leaves this computer — the tool works with the internet switched off.

? How this works
Each week, once you have the daily Arrivals, Stayovers and Departures reports:
- Drop this week’s day reports into step 3 — all seven at once is fine.
- Check the rooms it found, and give a name to anything it does not recognise.
- Choose which blank week in the sheet to fill, then press Build sheet.
Only departures are written — the rooms that need a checkout clean. Staff names and times are left blank for you to fill in. Your original file is never changed; a new copy is produced each time.
